Construction of modern prison at Puzhal :
The construction of Modern Prison Complex and construction of 216quarters for residential accommodation at Puzhal completed.

Construction of Police Academy :
The Government in G.O.Ms.No.309 Home (pol.X) dt. 23/04/2005 have approved the conceptual type design. Administrative sanction for the project is Rs.48.23 crores and the work is under progress.

MPF scheme works:
The Government have entrusted to TNPHC, various works under MPF schemes during this financial year.

Special Repairs:
During the year 2005-2006, special repairs to the police quarters/buildings to the tune of Rs.100.00 Lakhs have been carried out by the Corporation.
